Very basic limit yet I cannot find the answer and the explanation

$$\lim\limits_{n \to \infty} \sqrt[n+1]{n+1}$$

This question looks pretty easy and basic to me, yet I can't find an answer. I am pretty sure the answer is 1, but I'm not sure of the reason.

I think that it can be written as $(n+1)^{\frac1{n+1}}$, but $\dfrac1{n+1}$ should be $0$ (because $n\to\infty$) and that would be the reason, but I'm not really sure.

Can anyone give me a proper explanation on this limit and its result?
